Nuria Llopis Areny

She has realized musical studies together with Philosophy and Arts. She has studied modern harp with Giselle Herbert (France), Nicanor Zabaleta (Spain). Pierre Jamet (France) and Edward Witsenburg (Holland).

She has been harp soloist of The Madrid Symphony Orchestra and she has obtained later on the  harpist position of The National Orchestra of Spain, an appointment which she is currently holding.

A pioneer in the study and interpretation  with historic music she has given numerous recitals both alone and in groups. She has recorded for Radio Nacional de España, WDR  and for the labels Astrée, Glosa and Sony. Her first solitary record has been released at Verso, being dedicated to XVII century Spanish harp music.

She’s a early harp  teacher  at the summer Curso de Música Antigua in Daroca.
